Blur: Vote for the Blur Top 20 on Phoenix FM

Phoenix FM, a radio station in the Brentwood and Billericay area, are running a "Blur Top 20" poll. Click here to vote for your top 10 Blur songs; they have all of the album tracks and pretty much all of the b-sides too. They will then compile a definitive top 20 list, and will be playing it in full on their station on Saturday 10 May at 10pm UK time, which can be heard live via this link.

GBQ: Tony: GBQ recording Album 2

In an interview with The Independent today, Tony confirmed that The Good, The Bad & The Queen have been recording their second album at Damon's Studio 13 since December; he also added that the Hypnotic Bass Ensemble appear on the album and that it will be "very different from the first record". They are currently taking a break from recording due to other projects.

Damon: Damon calls for end of X-Factor

Damon has said that the celebrity culture should be "dismantled", while also saying that X-Factor should be ended "immediately" and that he wants to "get rid of 99% the media". GBQ: Paul: "We won't make another record"; GBQ is Observer's album of 2007

In a brief interview with Paul Simonon in The Observer after they named The Good, The Bad & The Queen as the best album of 2007, he has ruled out a new album. He revealed "It's all done now. We won't make another record".

Update: Thanks to Barb for letting us know that the album only reached number 16 in The Guardian's 2007 list. That's odd considering The Observer is the Sunday edition of The Guardian, but whatever.
